This mode is only available in the Minecraft Bedrock Edition gameplay of the game. To enable Hardcore mode, you must start a new world and choose the Hardcore mode option. If you die in this mode, you can only continue your game in Spectator mode. This mode allows you to explore the world as much as possible, but you cannot respawn. Hardcore mode is an extra challenge within Minecraft that locks the difficulty too hard and prevents you from respawning. Regardless of which version you choose, you can expect the same quality experience. You can get Java and Bedrock separately or as a bundle.
